really, really, really short

This entire piece is shorter than a lot of the free download samples you get for other works. I think it was 324 locations in all. So it's hot, it's about a dominant (as the title would suggest) an on going affair but not a relationship, there was an edge of contempt that felt real there. Despite being so short the characters were well drawn and the atmosphere was vivid. I think it's a well written piece, I just think it's a fragment and not worth $1.99. Either make it longer or give it away free, but in it's current form it's unsatisfying.

REALLY short indeed, but very good beginning for a great historical

Possible spoilers inside.
Well, I have read a review so I did expect that it would be something short (thanks for the warning, hate being ripped off without being warned :-)). It was incredibly short indeed, but I am a sucker for well done Ancient Rome stories and I loved the Kindred Hearts by this author, so I decided to take my chances.
It is a VERY strong beginning for a great story, Roman general and Emperor's heir love to have rough sex (not hardcore, but definitely not gentle and a bit of pain thrown in) and general asks the heir to explain some things to the emperor, which he eventually does and they I would imagine would continue their fun together when the general is back to Rome next time.
Please make it a longer story, I can see it would be an awesome story, as it stays right now it is indeed a ripoff. I chose to be ripped off, but readers beware. It took me maybe half an hour of reading time to finish it (or even a little less).
