About the Author
P.D.A. Harvey is Professor Emeritus of Medieval History at the University of Durham and author of many books on the history of cartography, including Medieval Maps (1991).

Mappa Mundi, A Real Treasure

Simple enough to help a beginner, but with enough detail for a graduate student who needs an overview, this little gem is well written and filled with illustrations. P. D. A. Harvey does an excellent job of shortening and tightening his longer text to a version rich in detail. An interesting and fun read.
